| About Me: |
Diving is one of those things I wanted to pick up my whole life, as the marine environment has always fascinated me. I kept putting it off because I didn't know anyone else who dove and I had no idea how easy it is to meet people to dive with.
I finally got certified in the Philippines in 2000. As soon as I got home I purchased a full set of gear and signed up for an advanced class. I was hooked, and 7 months after getting certified I completed my ITC and became an instructor. Ever since I have enjoyed watching students experience the joy of seeing the underwater environment for their first time.
Most of my diving experience is in Monterey. I also have a lot of experience diving in Kona, Hawaii (I lived there for about 6 months, and visit at least 2 weeks a year). I rarely dive without my camera, and I behave similar to a bird watcher when I'm underwater. Yes, I keep a scorecard of what I've seen :) |
