I know there are only 41 members at this time and I should have checked the dates of the posts before I registered but come on guy's and girls you need to liven up this site and chime in every once in a while. Is nothing going on in the Monterey Scuba world right now? I mean the last post before mine was in April, 2 month's ago. I'll check back in another week to see if things pick up. I agree, hopefully things pick up. Unfortunately I've come to realize that most divers who are active in online forums don't have the energy to frequent multiple sites, so they are staying in Scubaboard. But this site is still monitored, and you'll at least get feedback from myself and a couple others who check up on it until things pick up. Spread the word, and hopefully the site will become a good resource for updates on Monterey conditions.

Thanks for chiming in Matt! I will be on from time to time to ask questions. I am new to diving and would like to do more down the road. Doug

we are currently for the last month been in Mexico on the sea of Cortez..very spotty communications...but will post some photos and stories when we get back...doing lots of diving in our 3 mils and the water has been unusually cold...72 degrees at times..the water is now beginning to clear and has warmed to around 82 degrees...
